Children

It is funny how many different emotions you can have in one day. And they can all be created by one person. Yesterday after living through what felt like a rat race my children made me very proud. They completed their handbook sections at AWANA. What made me proud was that at home it was a huge fight. But in the end they had it. That was all that really mattered.

Today as my oldest does her school work my youngest two are running around acting as though I feed them sugar for breakfast (pancakes might qualify as that). I find myself constantly stopping to say quit taking things, stop screaming, no climbing. It all gets very frustrating sometimes.

I know by the end of the day though I will have cuddled up with each of them at some point and felt their peace and love. One of them will be kind to the other and my heart will soar.

Through the good times and the bad they are who they are. Unique little people trying to figure out where their ideas fit in.
